Colombian Embassy in Turkey on Monday organized a concert in collaboration with Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism at the Kucuk Theatre in the capital Ankara, to celebrate the arrival of New Year.
Colombia Orchestra conductor and keyboard player Alvaro Posada Castano enthralled the audience with his performance.
Speaking at the concert Colombian Ambassador Julio Anibal Riano said: “It is very pleasant for the Colombian Embassy to express our feelings of gratitude for the friendship offered to our country […] as well as for the substantial joint work carried with the Government of Turkey, in order to strengthen the excellent relations between our two countries.”
With this event, he noted, Turkey and Colombia mark the 60th Anniversary of the bilateral ties and cooperation.
After the concert, guests tasted traditional food from Colombian cuisine.
