Luceyn Kefrentuni
Young Syrian girl Luceyn Kefrentuni received treatment in Turkey to heal the damage inflicted on her face caused by the Assad regime.
Ten-year-old Kefrentuni was inflicted with cheek tissue damage five years ago as a result of a barrel bomb attack by regime forces.
Kefrentuni and her family came to Turkey four months ago.
She underwent successful surgery by Turkish plastic surgeon Mehmet Veli Karaaltin and his team in Istanbul.
Following the surgery, Kefrentuni had a follow-up examination on Friday.
The young girl and her family are now preparing to return to the district of Reyhanlı in Turkey's Hatay province, close to the Syrian border, where they live.
