British driver Lewis Hamilton won the season's last Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi after securing his sixth world drivers' title.

Hamilton's victory was his 11th of the 21 races this season and his career total reached 84 wins.

The 2019 Formula 1 World Championship ended on Sunday with the Round 21 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In Abu Dhabi, Red Bull-Honda driver Max Verstappen came at second place while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished at third place.

The 55-lap Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held in the Yas Marina Circuit, at a 5,554-meter (18,221-feet) long circuit.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, 34, previously secured this year's title in the U.S. Grand Prix.

The Mercedes team had already won the 2019 constructors' title in the Japanese Grand Prix in October.
