Airstrikes target several homes in southern, northern Gaza Strip

At least 26 more Palestinians were killed in unabated Israeli airstrikes on homes across the Gaza Strip on Monday, local media said.

Israeli warplanes struck a home in the southern city of Khan Younis in the early morning, killing eight people, the official news agency Wafa reported.

Two more people lost their lives in another strike in Al-Shafi'i displacement camp west of the city, the broadcaster said.

Fighter jets hit another Palestinian home in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, leaving 10 people dead.

Six more civilians were killed and several others injured in another strike targeting a home in the northern town of Beit Lahia, the same source said.

The Israeli army resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.

Israel has killed more than 52,200 Palestinians in the enclave since October 2023, most of them women and children.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
