Azerbaijan extends condolences over deadly train collision in Turkey

Azerbaijan has extended condolences to Turkey over the loss of lives in a train collision on Saturday.

"We are deeply saddened by the news of a collision between a freight train and a minibus in the Tekirdag province of fraternal Turkey. We wish peace to the souls of those who died in the accident and a speedy recovery to the wounded," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a written statement, according to Trend News Agency.

At least six people were killed and seven others injured when a freight train collided with an employee shuttle bus in Turkey’s northwestern Tekirdag province.
