Azerbaijan, Qatar mutually abolish visa requirements

Baku and Doha have signed an agreement on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for persons with general civilian passports, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said on Monday.

Bayramov made the announcement during a joint press conference with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, as the two officials signed the landmark agreement.

The visa liberalization agreement marks yet another milestone as the two Muslim nations continue to develop their ties.
