President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump spoke over the phone on Thursday, according to the Turkish presidency.
Presidential spokesman İbrahim Kalın said the two heads of state discussed bilateral ties and regional issues in the phone call.
“Our president held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Trump. Bilateral and regional issues were discussed during the conversation," Kalın said.
