Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that the U.S.’s main goal in Syria is to capture the country’s economic assets, not fight against Daesh, according to an official statement.
The statement addressed Wednesday’s U.S. airstrike against Assad regime forces near Deir Ezzor, saying that the attack “injured 25 militants.”
The statement also said that U.S. war planes are flying along Russian borders with their transponders “turned off.”
