Education ministers of Turkey and the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday signed a cooperation agreement on joint initiatives in the field of education.

Turkey's National Education Minister Mahmut Ozer and his Congolese counterpart Tony Mwaba Kazadi attended the signing ceremony in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul.

Speaking at the event, Ozer said they wish to further enhance the cooperation in education.

He went on to say that Turkey wants to share its experience with the Democratic Republic of Congo on vocational and technical education.

The two countries will conduct joint studies and share their experience on educational documents, scientific publications, and training, as well as vocational and technical education, as part of the deal.
