Ali Erbaş and Sheikh Abdelaziz Al Thani agree on cooperation
Head of Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet) on Friday received an official from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
A written statement by the Diyanet said Ali Erbas met Sheikh Abdelaziz Al Thani, chair of the Board of Trustees of OIC's Humanitarian Funds, at the former's office in the capital Ankara.
In the meeting Erbas said the Turkey's Diyanet Foundation (TDV), a charity group linked to the Diyanet, has been offering all kinds of support to migrants including education in Turkey and worldwide.
Abdelaziz Al Thani also expressed his support on cooperation.
TDV carries on educational, cultural, social and humanitarian projects in different countries of the world in more than 145 countries.
