The deputy head of planning and budget committee at Turkish parliament on Tuesday called on Indonesian authorities to stop activities of Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in their country.

In a meeting with a parliamentary delegation from Indonesia, Sukru Erdinc said: "We are waiting for your support to eliminate FETÖ organization in your country."

Erdinc, the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party's lawmaker from southern Adana province, reminded that Turkey has not only been fighting the FETÖ, but also Daesh and YPG/PKK terrorist organizations.

He also said Turkey and Indonesia should also be in cooperation against the Daesh terrorist organization.

FETÖ and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gülen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 250 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.

Ankara accuses FETÖ of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
