Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım spoke with his Iraqi counterpart Haider al-Abadi over the phone on Monday evening, according to a Turkish Prime Ministry source.
The two premiers discussed bilateral ties and regional developments as well as the fight against terror groups, including the PKK and Daesh, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
Yıldırım asserted the significance of cooperation between Turkey and Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
