Fifteen ministers remain in the same post, five new ministers join the Cabinet, and six ministers are repositioned within the Cabinet, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım says.
Prime Minister Yıldırım held a press conference following his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.
Stating that there were some reshuffles in the cabinet, “The present officials, and those who will begin their duty today in the cabinet are adept and have outstanding qualifications. Therefore, neither those who resign nor those who take office are superior to each other. This is a relay race; a change of blood. The efforts on the distribution of offices are ongoing. The heads of each institution, particularly the distribution of offices for deputy prime ministers, will be announced during the day,” said Yıldırım.
