Turkey’s Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stole the hearts of millions when he shared selfies with his dogs on social media amid a four-day curfew that was imposed to stem the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
Soylu, who previously adopted two stray dogs, shared the photographs in an Instagram post and said: "Let me introduce you to Bulut (Cloud) and Duman (Smoke)," garnering almost 800,000 likes on the popular site.
Soylu, 50, was elected as interior minister in August 2016, after having joined President Erdoğan’s Justice and Ruling (AK) Party in 2012.
