Türkiye organized a media meeting with Egypt.

The meeting on Monday, hosted by the Yunus Emre Institute in Cairo, aimed to enhance collaboration between the media industries of Türkiye and Egypt.

"During the event, which was organized to provide an opportunity for Egyptian and Turkish institutions to meet, views were exchanged on the role of the media in promoting bilateral relations on the cultural side," said the institution's Cairo branch on X.

"The Egyptian-Turkish Media Meeting is a testament to the power of cultural diplomacy in bridging divides and fostering mutual understanding," said Seref Ates, head of the institute. "This meeting not only symbolizes the renewal of diplomatic ties but also highlights the importance of media cooperation in promoting shared values and common interests."

The latest meeting was the seventh of such media meetings organized by the institute, after Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Romania, Venezuela, and Mexico.

Yunus Emre Institute is a government-funded institution that aims to promote the Turkish language and culture around the world.
