A5 earns award for its in-depth sector analyses, industry-focused reporting, and strategic editorial content
Turkish defense magazine A5 has been named a finalist in the 2025 Aerospace Media Awards, one of the most prestigious international honors in the aerospace and defense media industry, the magazine said on Thursday.
A5 earned its finalist position with its in-depth sector analyses, industry-focused reporting, and strategic editorial content, achieving a significant milestone in this year's competition, according to a magazine statement.
Since its inception in 2012, the Aerospace Media Awards have recognized excellence in aerospace journalism and publishing across the globe.
Being shortlisted for the awards is seen as a clear indicator of A5 Defense Industry Magazine's growing international influence as a media voice in Türkiye's defense and aerospace sectors. Currently followed in over 140 countries, the magazine remains a trusted reference for industry professionals and decision-makers.
The awards are supported by major global aerospace and defense companies, including Embraer, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, Boeing, Eurofighter, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, McKinsey & Company, Anduril, Supernal, CAE and CTT Systems.
Winners will be announced during a special ceremony in Paris on June 15.
“We are proud to see this success as a symbol of Türkiye's rising strength in defense and aerospace media,” said Ipek Ipek, publisher of A5 magazine.
“To be the first Turkish publication to reach the finals in this field is a historic step - not only for us, but also for our country's defense industry and media representation. This achievement clearly shows that we are on the right path internationally.”
