
Prefabricated, construction company partners with international organizations, NGOs, local authorities
Turkish prefabricated and construction company DORCE will develop projects for the increasing urgent settlement and accommodation needs in Gaza and Syria, according to a statement by the company on Tuesday.
"DORCE have been receiving requests from international organizations, NGOs, and local authorities in response to the increasing demand for emergency accommodation and housing units in Gaza and Syria. The company aims to create safe, efficient, and comfortable living spaces to meet people's fundamental housing needs in affected areas," it said.
"The company is in active communication with organizations from Türkiye, the UAE, Qatar, Palestine, Syria, and other countries to facilitate the implementation of such projects in Gaza and Syria."
DORCE also pointed out to its past works in several large-scale emergency accommodation projects that provided emergency housing and accommodation for nearly 640,000 people including 180,000 people who were affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye on Feb. 6, 2023.
The company said it provides services such as prefabricated residential and accommodation units, classrooms, schools, supermarkets, worship facilities and hospitals.
