Turkey and Venezuela signed agreements in various sectors, Venezuelan president says

Venezuela is ready to offer all conditions for Turkish entrepreneurs who are keen on investing in the country, Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro said on Friday.

Speaking at the Turkey-Venezuela Business Forum, Maduro said his country aimed to end its dependency on oil revenues.

"Turkish business people are considered as a good investors who discover opportunities very well. Venezuela is a country that presents many opportunities," Maduro said.

Maduro invited the Turkish business world to be a part of the economic transformation in the country.

Venezuela offers business opportunities in many sectors such as mining, petrochemicals, oil, gas, tourism, industry, agriculture, services, finance and banking, Maduro said.

Maduro stated Turkey and Venezuela had signed agreements on aviation service, tourism, trade, agriculture and security during his official visit to Ankara.

Meanwhile, Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekçi said steps were taken for removing obstacles to trade between the two countries.
