Artist paints celebrities in Turkey’s wonderland of ‘fairy chimneys’

Turkish painter Mustafa Turanoğlu found an interesting way to express himself in eastern Turkey. He put his canvases against Turkey's famous fairy chimneys in Narmanlı Canyon and painted many celebrities, including Mona Lisa, Sophia Loren, Türkan Şoray and Güler Sabancı. He said that his aim is to introduce the Narmanlı Canyon, also known as the “land of red fairies” to locals and tourists.
