The YYU Van Cat Research and Practice Center is closely following the Van cats throughout Turkey with their "Van Cat Watch System". The Van Cat Research and Practice Center at YYU was established in 1992 in order to ensure the survival of the breed without the loss of its pedegree, and it has continually added new activities to its roster. With the "Van Cat Watch System" project the center has instituted, the cats have their information injected under their skin in the form of a chip. Thanks to this chip, which plays an important role in determining the cats' pedigree, all the information about each cat can be obtained through a special reading system.
All the information about each cat can be obtained through a special reading system.
