One of the most important events in the world, "Expo 2016 Antalya," will be held April 23 - October 30, 2016 with the theme of "Flowers and Children" and the motto, "A Green Life for Future Generation."Plant sculptures in the 112-hectare exhibition site are expected to be draw a great deal of attention from participants. More than 1 million plants were used for the living sculptures, including elephant, tiger, farmer, rabbit sculptures. 25 people, including ten international designers, worked on the construction of the 1 to 6 meter high sculptures. The sculptures were created by Canadian firm Mosaicultures Internationales De Montreal. The Turkish representative of the firm, Sinan Kahveci, told Anadolu Agency that construction of realistic living sculptures for EXPO is the first in Europe.
