Istanbul’s Metropolitan Municipality is preparing to launch a startup lab in cooperation with the Directorate of EU Relations, which is set to be the first of its kind in Turkey.
“Zemin Istanbul” is located in the central Şişhane Metro Station, which is a busy hub right at the heart of the city and serves over 40,000 commuters a day, encompassing a surface area of 1100 square meters.
The project aims to provide technology and research laboratories for entrepreneurs who are unable to develop their ideas.
The "Living Lab" project set to open its doors to the public in August.
