Police launched simultaneous operations on 15 separate addresses to capture the suspects.

Suspected Daesh members were also accused of attempting to recruit new members to the terrorist group.

Also some documents belonging to the terrorist organization were seized during the search in the houses.

Previously, as many as 60 Daesh-linked suspects were captured in operations in several Turkish cities.

The operations against Daesh have intensified as a part of heightened security measures after the bloody terror attack in Istanbul.

The suicide bombing targeted Istanbul's Sultanahmet Square, a major tourist attraction, and left 10 people dead and 15 others wounded on January 12.

The injured were taken to several different hospitals close to the scene.

Five of the injured people are in serious condition, medicals said.

7 dead in bus crash in central Turkey

The icy conditions which followed recent heavy snowfall affected land transport badly and increased the number of accidents all over Turkey. The hazardous conditions following the heavy snow have been causing accidents in particular in the central, eastern and northern provinces of Turkey.

On Monday, at least nine people were killed and around 30 injured when a bus carrying passengers rolled off the road shoulder in central Kırşehir province.

The woman, known as “Fatma," vanished with all the money and jewelry she had received for her wedding the morning after the ceremony, reports said.

She reportedly disappeared along with two of her relatives. The money and wedding gifts were valued at TL 20,000, according to the reports.

The groom, identified as Rıza T., made a criminal complaint in Serinhisar prosecution office on charges of fraud. Police have investigated the incident.

A total of eight suspects, together with the Syrian woman, have been detained in connection with the fraud claims. The investigation is still underway.

The 37-year-old man is believed to be the second person who was cheated by the same woman. In another case, she is said to have obtained money by tricking a man she married in the central Anatolian city of Konya.
