      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists Monday injured six soldiers in a terror attack carried out by a remote-controlled bomb, in Turkey's eastern Mus province.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> It was reported that an improvised remote-control roadside bomb struck an armored vehicle in eastern Mus province Monday.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The incident occurred in the province's Varto district.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The injured soldiers were taken to Mus State Hospital for treatment. After the attack, the Turkish army launched an operation in the province.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The PKK, which is considered a terrorist group by Turkey and much of the international community, including the United States and the European Union, has been involved in a separatist struggle with Turkey since the early 1980s. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Turkey blames the group for the deaths of thousands of people.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Since July, when the PKK called an end to a ceasefire with the Turkish government, more than 180 members of the security forces have been martyred and over 1,700 PKK terrorists killed in operations across Turkey and northern Iraq, including airstrikes.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thirteen Turkish soldiers were wounded when their convoy was hit by a roadside bomb detonated by the outlawed PKK terrorists in the eastern Turkish province of Muş on Tuesday, security sources said.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The incident, which happened at the entrance of Sulucu village of the district, has occurred a week after two deadly attacks by the terrorist group that claimed the lives of more than 32 security officials last week.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Wounded soldiers were taken to Muş Public Hospital, as a wide-range operation has reportedly been launched in the area.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> In recent months, the pro-Kurdish separatist group has intensified its attacks targeting both security officers and civilians in the Kurdish populated southeastern provinces.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization in Turkey, EU and the US, ended a 2-year-long ceasefire in early July and resumed its terror incidents. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The Turkish government vowed to annihilate the terror group as it declared to continue operations against the terror group until they lay down their arms or leave the country.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> About 70 security personnel have been martyred in recent violence while the government declared that nearly 2000 armed elements of the terror organization have been killed by the security forces.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Gendarme commander was killed in an attack in eastern Muş province's Malazgirt town Monday, authorities said.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Armed attackers opened fire on Major Aslan Kulaksiz, commander of Gendarme Garrison in Malazgirt town, when he was travelling with his wife and child in his car.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Mus Provincial Governor Vedat Buyukersoy told Anadolu Agency that Kulaksiz succumbed to his wounds at the Malazgirt State Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Security forces have launched an operation to nab the assailants.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Following the July 20 suicide bombing in Suruc that killed 32 activists, tensions have risen between the Turkish state and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), with the latter stepping up attacks on police and troops while Turkish jets target the group's camps and its followers are rounded up.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Meanwhile another Turkish soldier was injured in an attack on an armored military vehicle in Turkey's eastern Van province on Monday, Turkish security sources said.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The army vehicle came under attack while it was on routine patrol duty on the Çaldiran-Dogubayazit Highway near the Mount Tendurek Pass. The security sources blamed “PKK terrorists” for the incident.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The specialist sergeant wounded in the attack was transferred in an ambulance to the Yuzuncu Yil University Dursun Odabas Medical Center.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Also, suspected PKK militants clashed with security forces using heavy weapons in the area and blocked the Mount Tendurek Pass between Caldiran and Dogubayazit by setting ablaze a truck.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> An operation was launched in the area to nab the attackers.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> On July 22, two police officers were found shot dead in southeastern Sanliurfa province. The PKK had claimed the responsibility for the incident.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> On July 23, a policeman was killed and a colleague was wounded in a gun attack in Turkey's southeastern city of Diyarbakir.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> A non-commissioned Turkish officer, Yalcin Nane, was killed and two Turkish sergeants were injured when gunfire believed to be coming from the direction of Syria hit uniformed personnel in Turkey's southern Kilis province on July 23.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The PKK is listed by Turkey, the U.S. and EU as a terrorist organization.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Turkish security forces have detained 1,050 suspects across 34 Turkish provinces since the nationwide "anti-terrorist operations" in the country began early July 24, the Turkish Prime Minister's Office of Public Diplomacy said in a statement Monday.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Most of the suspects allegedly belong to ISIL, PKK and the far-left Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C).</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Turkish General Staff announced on Wednesday, May 20, that two people missing for hours in the eastern province of Muş were kidnapped by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> “Terrorists belonging to a Separatist Terrorist Organization kidnapped two people, one a gendarmerie Corporal, in the area between the villages of Mescitli and Bostankent in Muş province,” said the general staff in a released statement. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The kidnapped civilian was an employee of a satellite maintenance company. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> A wide investigation was launched about the kidnapping incident. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> On the other hand, two unarmed terrorists surrendered to the gendarmerie units in the Hani district of Diyarbakır. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>
