      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As tension increases in eastern Turkey between the PKK terrorists and Turkish security forces, fear also mounted among the public, because people in the cities are being threatened by the PKK. On Monday night, members of the PKK stopped about 300 vehicles on the roads in the eastern province of Tunceli.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The armed members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) searched the vehicles and passengers, and then set fire to three vehicles.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Meanwhile, a minibus driver was killed early on Monday morning by the PKK terrorists in Erzurum. It was reported that the driver was killed while trying to get away after the terrorists released him.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Turkey's military and police have been hit by a number of attacks over the past week following the ISIL-linked suicide bombing in Suruç, Şanlıurfa province, that killed 32 people on July 20.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The PKK, which is considered a terrorist group by Turkey and much of the international community, including the United States and the European Union, has been involved in a separatist struggle with Turkey since the early 1980s. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Turkey blames the group for the deaths of thousands of people.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A car bomb driven by a suspected suicide attacker exploded near a guardhouse of a division of the Gendarmerie command in the eastern province of Tunceli injuring one military personnel and two civilians midnight on Thursday.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> According to security sources, a minibus packed with explosives was driven to the guardhouse of the Public Order Division Command of the Pülümür district, by a member of the outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party, or PKK. The suspected terrorist left the vehicle and activated the explosive via remote control.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The PKK suspect then opened fire to the security officers with a long-barreled weapon and fled after the Gendarmerie personnel shot with counter fire. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The security units said after the preliminary investigation in the scene, that the vehicle was laden with between 1 to 1.5 tons of explosive materials.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Security officials secured the area and launched a wide search operation to detain the attacker who fled into a wooden area.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Another group of PKK terrorists attacked the Yeniyaz Gendarmerie Station in the Genç district of Bingol province with rocket launchers and long barreled weapons, injuring specialist sergeant Rıdvan Çakır.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The pro-Kurdish PKK, which was listed as a terror organization by the U.S. and EU, broke a three-year long ceasefire a month ago and intensified its terror attacks targeting both security officials and civilians.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> More than 30 security forces' members and several civilians were killed in the latest terror attacks as Turkey's authority also launched wide operations against the terror group, including police raids, military operations and airstrikes on PKK targets in Turkey and northern Iraq.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></content:encoded>
