Osmanlıspor defeated Gençlerbirliği 2-0 in a derby match in capital Ankara on Friday evening to kick off the Turkish Super Lig's 13th match week.

In a match of the bottom places, both teams put out an effort to get the win and increase their points total to start a winning form, but Osmanlıspor came victorious by scoring both in the first and second halves.

The league will continue over the weekend when Saturday evening leaders Galatasaray will take the floor in front of their fans to get back to their winning ways.

Galatasaray last week suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Başakşehir, who are now tied at 26 points with the leaders.

Also on Saturday, Besiktas will travel to eastern Malatya province to take on Yeni Malatyaspor. Black Eagles -- who suffered a draw against Akhisarspor at Vodafone Park -- is currently sitting at third place.

On Sunday, Fenerbahçe will square off against Antalyaspor in the Mediterranean city of Antalya. Yellow Canaries won last week against Sivasspor with a convincing 4-1 score.
