Arsenal hammered Aston Villa 5-0 in their English Premier League match in London on Sunday.

The Gunners ran riot against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. French target man Olivier Giroud, German attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil, English winger Theo Walcott, Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla and Spanish right back Hector Bellerin all scored for Arsenal.

The most anticipated match of the week, however, was played at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Premier League leaders Chelsea drew against current runners-up Manchester City 1-1 in London. Home team Chelsea's French forward Loic Remy scored the first goal of the match in the 41st minute. City then equalized through Spanish attacking midfielder David Silva in the 45th minute.

Frank Lampard, a former Chelsea veteran now playing for Manchester City, was subbed on in the 77th minute of the match.

Manchester United also cruised past Leicester City 3-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday. Dutch striker Robin van Persie, Colombian striker Radamel Falcao and Leicester City's Wes Morga, through an own goal, all scored for the Red Devils. With 10 minutes to go, Marcin Wasilewski scored a consolation goal for visitors Leicester City.
