Defending Turkish champions Fenerbahce completed the transfer of Brazilian attacking midfielder Diego Ribas da Cunha, the club confirmed in a statement on its website Friday.
The 29-year-old Brazilian will sign a 3-year-contract with the "Yellow Canaries" on Saturday, the statement said.
Diego began his career in Santos before moving to Porto, Juventus, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and Atletico Madrid. He starred in 2012 UEFA Europa League final by scoring one goal and making an assist for Atletico.
In the 2013/14 season, he scored one goal and made one assist for Atletico in 13 Spanish La Liga matches as well as helping his team qualify for the UEFA Champions League final.
Diego arrives at the Turkish giants as a free transfer as his contract expired on June 30.
