Juventus to meet Real Madrid in rematch of last year's final

Italy's Juventus have drawn Spain's Real Madrid for the upcoming Champions League quarterfinals.

The draw for Europe's top-tier football club competition, which was performed in the Swiss city of Nyon on Friday, also pit Liverpool against Manchester City for an all-English showdown.

Other match-ups include Barcelona against Roma and Bayern Munich against Sevilla.

Real Madrid were crowned winners of the Champions League in June 2017 after beating Juventus 4-1.

First legs will be played on April 3-4 and return matches on April 10-11.

Quarter final pairings are as follows:

Barcelona (Spain) vs Roma (Italy)

Sevilla (Spain) vs Bayern Munich (Germany)

Juventus (Italy) vs Real Madrid (Spain)

Liverpool (England) vs Manchester City (England)

Champions League quarter finals draw was followed by Europe's second-tier international football competition Europa League's quarter final draws held in Nyon.

Germany's Leipzig will meet French club Olympique Marseille, English team Arsenal will face Russia's CSKA Moscow, Spanish side Atletico Madrid will play against Sporting Lisbon from Portugal and Italian team Lazio will meet Austria's Salzburg in the Europa League last eight.

First legs will be played on April 5 and second legs will be on April 12.
