The Boston Celtics defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 134-129 at home on Sunday in the NBA.

Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving was on fire against the Thunder (OKC) as he produced 30 points and 11 assists for his team.

Celtics forward Marcus Morris scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Morris' teammate Marcus Smart tallied 18 points, four rebounds and seven assists.

Home team Celtics forward Al Horford was among the key players for Celtics as he scored 17 points and made nine assists.

Celtics won this battle despite Oklahoma City Thunder stars Paul George and Russell Westbrook's brilliant performances each.

George scored 37 points against Celtics meanwhile point guard Westbrook made another triple double in this game, his sixth consecutive.

Westbrook produced 22 points, took 12 rebounds and made 16 assists in the losing effort, made a turnover in a crucial possession at the end of the game.

Celtics extended their winning streak to four, grabbing their 34th win in the regular season.
