Real Madrid have reached their third straight Champions League final after eliminating Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening on a 4-3 aggregate.

The match at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium was a delight for fans as the two teams drew 2-2.

Bayern Munich scored the first goal thanks to a Joshua Kimmich strike in the 3rd minute.

Real Madrid struck back when Karim Benzema placed a header in the 11th minute.

The Frenchman found the net a second time in the 46th minute after an error by the Munich goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.

Bayern Munich's Colombian attacking midfielder James Rodriguez managed to tie the game in the 63rd minute but Madrid held on in the end.

Juventus were the last side to reach three Champions League finals in a row, between 1996 and 1998.
