Title-chasing teams were full of action over the weekend in Turkey's Super Lig as Galatasaray managed to comeback and defeat Konyaspor to continue leading the league.

Sunday evening's action saw Galatasaray having a tough time in front of their home fans, as Konyaspor took the lead just three minutes in the game.

The in-form French striker, Bafetimbi Gomis, missed a penalty-kick in the first half, as Galatasaray was down 0-1 after the first 45 minutes.

The second half, however, proved to be a different story when Gomis made up for his mistake in the first half to score in the 69th minute, equalizing the match with a header.

Galatasaray's substitute winger Sinan Gumus gave his team valuable three points in the 84th minute with a superb volley to Japanese full back Yuri Nagatomo's cross inside the six yard box.

The comeback win increased Galatasaray's points total to 53, three points better than the second-placed, Besiktas, and third-placed Medipol Basaksehir.

Besiktas defeated Genclerbirligi 1-0 on Saturday, increasing their points total to 50 and took over the second-spot from Basaksehir, who lost to Alanyaspor 4-1 on Friday.

Fenerbahce, on the other hand, defeated Yeni Malatyaspor 2-0 on Sunday afternoon to continue chasing the top three teams. They have currently 47 points and are placed fourth.

The league's 25th match week will end on Monday evening with Akhisarspor - Trabzonspor match in Manisa.
