A Turkish couple got married in an amazing underwater ceremony in Sakarya River. The couple, Volkan Türk and Derya Ateş, said they planned this unusual ceremony for a long time. The bride and groom held up cue cards saying “Evet,” Turkish for “Yes,” at the appropriate moment while two witnesses held up cards saying “Şahidiz” (“we are witnesses”). A registrar presided over the underwater marriage.
