Kubbe Istanbul welcomes locals and foreigners alike

Harun Reşit Göktaş welcomes local and foreign visitors to the arts and culture called “Kubbe Istanbul" (Dome Istanbul) he built by removing the concrete that covered the historical building on the roof of Istanbul's Sağır Han. His family came to Istanbul from Niğde in 1989. The arts and culture center became operational three months ago. The center boasts a tea room, office, library, music studio, traditional carpet room and activity room. The silhouette of Istanbul, which can be seen from all the windows and roofs of the center, amazes onlookers.
