A huge Turkish flag was unfurled between Presidential Palace and AK Party building

Thousands of citizens walked with a 500-meter-long Turkish flag from the Presidential Palace to the AK Party building during AK Party's 15th year anniversary ceremony. People with flags of other Turkic nations accompanied the crowd. AK Party celebrated its anniversary with an event arranged in its headquarters. This year, celebrations were quiet, to show respect for the July15 martyrs. Police took intense security measures in the streets. Some streets and roads were pedestrianized and police helicopters watched the celebrations to prevent potential dangers.
