Cries of Afghan girl illustrate tragedy on Macedonian border

Around 800 Afghan migrants have been waiting at the Greek border crossing of Idomeni, after neighboring Macedonia blocked their entry. The tragedy on the border was personified once more with the cries of a little Afghan girl, tearfully begging officers to open the border. The video of the little girl was uploaded by Euronews. As border controls and security measures are ramped up in Europe, migrants are stuck in Greece. The migration crisis is one of the top issues occupying the agenda of European leaders.
