Four elderly villagers from the Afrin town of Maskah were rescued by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters after they were found with their hands tied up inside a house that was booby-trapped by terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)'s Syrian offshoot, the PYD, threatening they would hurt their kidnapped relatives. “They tied our hands, then they put explosives all around us. In the evening, Turkish soldiers came and rescued us. They gave us food. Then they brought us here. May God bless them,” said one of the villagers.
