A video widely circulated on social media reportedly shows a Hindu mob trying to rip the crescent from the top of a minaret and placing a Hanuman flag in the Indian capital on Tuesday. Several Muslim-populated areas in the city were attacked during three days of violence. The death toll from protests against India's controversial new citizenship law in the capital New Delhi reached at least 20 people Wednesday, including a policeman, as demonstrations continued for a fourth day, with four new deaths and scores of injuries.
