A 19-year-old student in India has died of third-degree burns suffered while performing reality TV show-inspired fire stunts at Falaknuma. Trying to imitate the fire stunts performed by participants on the show, the young man suffered burns over 54 percent of his body on April 7. The student suffered fatal burns as he failed to remove his T shirt after pouring kerosene on it and then setting it ablaze using a torch. People who perform these stunts professionally for an audience usually have years of training and experience, with an emphasis on accident prevention and safety. The victim was known to have been a fan of - India's Got Talent, a reality TV show broadcast on Indian Colors channel.
