Polish security forces attack migrants stranded in buffer zone at border with Belarus

Clashes broke out on the Belarusian-Polish border between migrants trying to cross into Europe and Polish security forces on Tuesday. Polish forces used tear gas and water cannons to disperse irregular migrants trying to enter the buffer zone between Belarus and Poland, while migrants responded by throwing stones at border guards. At least 2,000 people, including women and children, are stranded at the Belarus-Poland border area in dire conditions.
