Refugees sew lips to protest in France

Refugees in France sewed their lips together in protest after police demolished Calais camp known as “the Jungle”Refugees held a silent protest and sewed their lips shut. Shelters in northern French port city of Calais were set on fire as refugees protested the decision to start dismantling dozens of makeshift shacks in the southern part of the camp known as the 'Jungle' on Monday.French authorities plan to relocate the refugees into purpose-built accommodation following a court order last week. Many of the refugees in the camp are determined to reach the UK and therefore refuse to register in France
