A shipwreck recently emerged from below the Lake Van surface due to water withdrawal caused by the impacts of the climate change. Experts consider that the ship is a century-old Russian vessel that sunk decades ago in Van province of Turkey. “Three massive ships were built by the Russians in the area we used to call Arnis.” Lecturer Mustafa Akkus from Yuzuncu Yil University on Tuesday (Feb. 16).
