Video footage shows the moment that an unarmed black teenager was shot dead by a police officer in Chicago, Illinois in the United States. Cedrick Chatman, 17, a suspect in a car theft, was shot and killed in January 2013 by a police officer who was pursuing him on foot. Police said at the time that he was shot because he turned around and pointed at the officer with something that looked like a weapon. However, the latest findings indicate that the object in question was a black mobile phone, not a gun.
