Turkish restaurant owner fights off gang of 50 people in Portugal

A Turkish kebab restaurant owner in Lisbon, capital of Portugal, has become an Internet phenomenon after he defended himself singlehandedly with a meat cleaver against a violent mob of 50 people. As many as 50 members of a gang raided Mustafa Kartal's restaurant Palácio do Kebab in Don Luis Street on April 25 and attempted to bully him. Armed with a fierce-looking meat cleaver, Kartal defended himself against a gang of 50 hoodlums. This feat was recorded on video and of course shared widely. After the video was spread, Mustafa Kartal became a social media phenomenon. Portuguese social media users also reacted to the attack, sending their support to Kartal.
