Video shows Iranian women scoffing hijab laws

A video shared by exiled Iranian journalist Masih Alinejad shows a group of women in a car throwing off their compulsory head coverings and laughing in a contemptuous manner. The women were protesting new Iranian laws that require them to wear full hijab while driving. Alinejad, who lives in exile in the United Kingdom, launched a Facebook campaign encouraging women to share pictures of themselves flouting strict rules requiring women to remain covered up in public. She said the women who shot the video represent a 'silent majority' who don't agree with the rules.
