Omran Daqneesh becomes symbol of Aleppo's suffering

The video of a five-year-old Syrian boy, visibly dazed after an air strike in Aleppo, has provoked widespread anger over the senselessness of the conflict. The video of Omran Daqneesh sitting in an ambulance was recorded after he was pulled from the rubble of his house. He was one of 12 children under the age of 15 treated on Wednesday after an air raid was carried out by the Assad regime backed by Russia and Iran. In the video an officer from the Aleppo Media Center, who filmed the bewildered five-year-old's reaction for the world to see, narrated what happened there.
