Over my dead body! Bantus bid farewell to dearly departed with dance in Cameroon

15:17 - 25/01/2022 Tuesday

Members of the Bantu culture, an ethnic group in Cameroon, have kept alive the tradition of dancing after funerals to deal with their grief. The Bantus, the majority of whom are Christians, do not bury their deceased immediately, and corpses are kept in morgues until the relatives are psychologically and economically ready.
