At least one person was killed and 32 others wounded Sunday in the Turkish town of Reyhanli by cross-border shell and rocket fire from Syria's Afrin held by the People's Protection Union (YPG) terrorist organization. The rocket fire came one day after Turkey launched its Operation Olive Branch against the YPG in Afrin on Syria's northern border. Three shells fell in Reyhanli, which is located about 10 kilometers from Afrin, on Sunday afternoon, followed by rocket fire later during the day. Local residents said at least eight rockets hit the town. "Of course I'm worried and scared. Everybody is scared, about their children. I have sent my children to a village. It's safer there," said a local named Fatih. "I was terrified by the shell fire. Fortunately, none of my loved ones were injured except for some property damage," said another resident. "The Turkish forces have started firing shells since last night. We could heard artillery fire and airstrikes from warplanes the entire time. Drones were also used in the operation. The noise lasted into the next morning," said a third local resident.
