Another Russian billionaire opposes war in Ukraine

Oleg Tinkov, a well-known Russian businessman and the founder of the major Russian bank Tinkoff, has stated that the situation in Ukraine is unacceptable and that he opposes the war.

Tinkov emphasized in an Instagram statement that his foundation strives to save lives by fighting blood cancer.

Tinkov, who has also battled cancer, stated, "I saw for myself how fragile life is. Now innocent people are dying every day in Ukraine, this is unacceptable."

"We are against this war," he added, pointing out that states should use their money to heal people rather than go to war.

Earlier, Russian billionaires Mikhail Fridman and Oleg Deripaska have called for "peace," opposing Russia's attack on Ukraine.
