At least 10 Palestinians were wounded when Israeli forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas at protesters in the occupied West Bank on Friday.

Dozens of protesters inhaled tear gas as Israeli forces tried to thwart demonstrations against illegal Israeli settlements in Beita and Beit Dajan in Nablus and Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilya.

Three people were shot with rubber bullets in Beita and four others were injured when they fell while seeking cover from Israeli forces, Ahmed Jebril, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society’s emergency director in Nablus, told Anadolu Agency.

One more person was shot with rubber bullets and several were exposed to tear gas in Kafr Qaddum, the official added.

Two more people were injured by rubber bullets at another protest in Hebron, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.
